Clear, deep, robust sound, with good response. Tim is a maker whose instruments are appearing in many places in the Northeast.

Barbara Theobald, Chelsea, MA, 2004 Barbara and I first collaborated in 2002, when she made me a cello of my model, with my specifications (to a point). She’s a fine maker and the first cello was a clear winner, purchased by an excellent cellist from nearby Burlington VT. This 2004 instrument is at least equal if not surpassing the first one. With a large, dark, projecting tone, it is suitable for solo use, even against a large orchestra
