Were
proud to be carrying this instrument. It is a lovely work: an
excellent spruce top with a willow back and ribs, and tastefully
antiqued oil varnish. Clear, deep, robust sound, with good response.
Tim is a maker whose instruments are appearing in many places
in the Northeast. |

Barbara
and I first collaborated in 2002, when she made me a cello of
my model, with my specifications (to a point). Shes a fine
maker and the first cello was a clear winner, purchased by an
excellent cellist from nearby Burlington VT. This 2004 instrument
is at least equal if not surpassing the first one. With a large,
dark, projecting tone, it is suitable for solo use, even against
a large orchestra |

A beautiful
handmade cello: our best guess is the 1960s. Excellent
workmanship with a golden amber varnish. Large sound with terrific
projection and dark tone; easy response, a real treat to play. |
