This is a beautiful instrument in great condition from one of Germany's finer shops in the 70's. Very nice workmanship and varnish, and a full-throated, dark-toned and smooth player. This cello has been played regularly until the last few years but has very few scratches and dings. Terrific European wood, the quality of which is almost impossible to find today.
