"Paul Bailly, Paris" 1920’s Markneukirchen instrument actually German The label in this beautiful 1920’s Markneukirchen instrument says "Paul Bailly, Paris," but it is German work and of the finest kind. It is truly a powerhouse, one of the biggest sounding instruments we’ve had in years - definitely appropriate for concerto work but still subtle enough for a string quartet. A lovely amber-varnished cello in excellent condition.
