Romania 2008 Every once in a while we run into an outstanding Eastern European cello and this is one. Lightly antiqued and very attractive, this Guarneri model plays so well that Melissa & I feel that it is one of the better players in the shop. Its sound is deep and surprisingly old, with enough power for solo work. It has a nice ease of response with fat lows and soaring highs. |
