Unlabeled
7/8 Cello
Northern Germany
ca. 1860
This is
a rare instrument. Technically, it probably qualifies as a full
size as its length is slightly more than 29 and its rib
height fits within the standard range. But its bout widths are
definitely narrow and its string length is definitely 7/8. It
is a wonderful player, very easy to finger, with deep, old sound.
Perfect for the cellist who wants full, aged tone but in a smaller
instrument. |
