Wool Blankets (From Our Too Fewe Farm)
As our spring weather began to warm, Charlotte, Anne, Ethel (pictured), and the rest of the flock of Too Fewe Farm were happily relieved of their heavy winter coats. As they enjoyed the wonderful feel of fresh breezes, we picked through their fleece removing unusable tags and the like, and shipped it off to our friends in Prince Edward Island to be cleaned and made into beautiful blankets.
These thick, soft, queen-size blankets are the best kind of covering anywhere. On your bed their wonderful insulating quality keeps you warm on chilly nights, but breathes well enough to still be comfortable as things warm up. And they are beautiful. Beulah, Ethel and Charlotte contributed their dark Black Mountain Welsh color, while Mrs. Chubbers, Daisy, Sweet Pea and Anne gave us their creamy Dorset lightness. The MacAuslands combined all this to fashion these amazingly lovely blankets.
